Wow, what a busy and exciting week! It started with a book signing and reading event at Kismet Books in Verona, WI. Thank you to everyone that came out, especially some old friends I haven't seen in a while. I'm also grateful to have my daughter along for this journey. She has been at almost all of my events and is the best assistant and supporter I could ask for.
Sunday was Mother's Day, and of course, that is always a special time for Sydney, Austin and myself. Holidays are the perfect excuse to spend time with the ones you love and I try to never take that for granted.
I ended this week with a poetry reading at my local library, Karl Junginger Memorial Library. I love being able to share my poetry at these events, but it's extra meaningful when it's at the library I've been a member of for years. I was amongst family, friends and fellow book clubbers.
It's humbling to see the amount of support I receive at these events and I try to count my blessings every day.
